Constant air flow limiter

The constant air flow limiter limits the air flow adjustment. When the function is enabled, the ventilation unit assesses the current load on the fans and compares it to the ideal load.

If the unit is forced to increase the fan speed significantly to reach the target air flow level, the constant air flow limiter is activated to stop the adjustment. A significant increase in fan speed can be a result of multiple factors, including a blocked filter, dust and dirt in the duct, or other obstacles.

When the function is enabled, the limiter is activated automatically when the fan load exceeds a certain limit value. The limiter is also deactivated automatically when the fan load returns to the normal level.
Note:
The constant air flow limiter suspends normal fan control striving to achieve the target air flow level. The limiter is only intended to be used temporarily to limit the fan speed in situations where, for example, the increased fan speed causes a disturbing noise. The use of the limiter can lower the air flow in the duct system substantially.
  1. Open Expert settings
  2. Enable or disable the constant air flow limiter by using the On/Off button on the right side of the Constant airflow limit text.
