Duct radiator control

The duct radiator can be located either in the outdoor or the supply air duct. If the radiator is installed in the outdoor air duct, it can be used for both preheating and cooling, or for preheating or cooling alone. If the duct radiator is installed in the supply air duct, it can be used for cooling only.

The duct radiator can be set to function either automatically or manually:

  • Automatic — In summer, the supply air temperature will be maintained at the level specified in the temperature setting. In winter, the duct radiator will turn on, when the outdoor temperature falls below the winter setting.
  • Manual — In summer, the duct radiator will turn on, when the outdoor temperature rises above the summer setting. In winter, the duct radiator will turn on, when the outdoor temperature falls below the winter setting.
To prevent the risk of condensation in the supply air duct, you can set the adjustment of the supply air limit to automatic or manual:
  • Automatic — The supply air limit is adjusted automatically based on the dew point of the extract air. When the supply air temperature falls too low, the duct radiator will turn off.
  • Manual — The supply air limit can be set manually. When the supply air temperature falls down to the set value, the duct radiator will turn off.
Important:

Please observe the risk of condensation when making changes to duct radiator settings.

    • Manual — The supply air limit can be set manually.
  18. Select Right arrow.
  19. Use the arrow buttons to select the adjustment of the supply air limit. The adjustment range of the supply air limit is +12 °C - +25 °C.
    Note:

If the supply air limit is set to automatic, the supply air limit cannot be adjusted manually.

  20. Select Right arrow.
  21. The External sensor settings display opens.

Use the arrow buttons to select the method of use of the external sensor. The options are:

    • Not in use — The duct radiator is located in the outdoor air duct, no external sensor has been connected.
    • Control of outdoor air duct radiator — The duct radiator and the external sensor are located in the outdoor air duct.
    • Air heating control — Not used in the controlling of the duct radiator.
    • Supply air duct radiator control — The duct radiator and the external sensor are located in the supply air duct.
