Installing the water seal

The Vallox Silent Klick water seal package is delivered with the unit. The package allows for leading the water condensed from the extract air to the floor drain. The standard water seal that is equipped with an air lock requires 75mm of free space underneath the ventilation unit when installed. The air lock ensures removal of condensing water and muffles any noise relating to the drying of the water seal. In low-ceilinged premises, the water seal can alternatively be installed so that the air lock is installed somewhere else between the extraction pipes (the parts needed are included in the accessory bag of the water seal package). If this method is used to install the water seal, there must be 47 mm of free space underneath the ventilation unit.

Installation instructions for the water seal are enclosed with the packaging, and can also be found online at http://www.vallox.com.

Important

The ventilation unit must be installed straight to ensure that condensing water can exit the unit unobstructed. The condensing water pipe must be placed at an angle so that it always points downwards.

Warning

Water must at all times be kept out of the electrical system.
